Tim is married to Sara and together they have two boys, Kevin and Noah and a baby girl Esther. He loves sport, good conversation, reading, music, chess and walking in the hills.
He has been the church minister at Elim Christian Centre Glossop since September 2019. For the previous 8 years he served in East London as an associate minister. While in East London he was also involved in Elim’s national youth ministry (Limitless), firstly as a regional leader for London and the South East and latterly overseeing the engagement team across the UK. He moved to Glossop because he and his family want to see ECC Glossop revitalised.
“I want to see a community of people walking faithfully in the ways of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, loving God wholeheartedly and loving their neighbour as themselves. I want to see lives that are rich with generosity, forgiveness, compassion, service, humility and love. I hold Acts 2:42-47 as a compelling vision of the kind of christian community we can expect when people’s hearts have been changed by the love of God.”
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
