Connect aims to serve the people of Glossop by making connections across the generations and to bring isolated people into a community. It runs a coffee morning every Tuesday from 10.30am – 1.00pm at the church building on Ellison Street. If you want to help out on team serving teas, cakes, food and chatting to locals, we’d love to hear from you.
Life Groups exist to help people follow Jesus and grow meaningful Christian friendships. They are small communities of people from our church family that meet on a regular basis to pray, explore the scriptures, build friendships, and equip one another to follow Jesus in our everyday lives. These groups meet in local Glossop homes, usually fortnightly, if you want to find out more, register your interest below.
Our Children and Youth Ministries exist to see the next generation raised up to walk with Jesus all the days of their lives. We seek to offer relevant ministry that meets young people’s needs, a compelling sense of belonging to a church family and regular opportunities to serve God and others. There are lots of ways for you to serve in this area of ministry and we need a whole range of gifts to fulfil our vision. So if you have a passion to serve the next generation and want to invest in them, you can register your interest below.
Our Worship Team helps lead our church family in gathered worship through music. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or enjoy the Audio/Visual side of things, we would love to meet you and explore the possibility of having you join us on team. Our worship practices are every Monday evening (bar the first in the month) at 7.15pm – 8.45pm.
Our Hospitality Team exists to build a sense of community and to welcome new people into our church family. When someone new is joining our gatherings, it can make a massive difference when they feel seen and valued through small, simple acts of hospitality. Equally, many meaningful and significant moments have been shared by people as they talk after the service over a tea or coffee. If you have a heart to help grow a warm and welcoming church environment for all then please send us a message.
