F.A.Qs
Are we opening our building?
Yes, but not yet for our Sunday Services. We are currently opening our building for 2 midweek gatherings; Tuesday at 7.30pm for Searching the Scriptures (which is also live-streamed on our website) and Thursday at 11.00am for Coffee and Chat.
What about Sundays?
We are currently meeting on Zoom for our Sunday Service. You can either meet the minister over Zoom who will then give you log in details for our Sunday gatherings, or you can watch the preach on our youtube after the service. We are currently working behind the scenes to prepare for the time where we will be able to open the building for Sunday services.
What have you done to prepare for in-person gatherings?
We have worked hard behind the scenes, here you can check what we have done to make the building as COVID secure as possible when we meet together. What have we done?
What must I do for in-person gatherings?
You will need to let us know you are coming by registering for the gathering through our “Upcoming Gatherings” segment on the homepage. Upon entering the building you will need to wear a face covering unless you are exempt (we will have disposable masks if you forget). You will be greeted by someone who will take your temperature using a non-touch thermometer. You will then be able to sanitise your hands. You will need to social distance at 2m apart between households.
In terms of seating you will need to leave 2 chairs between yourself and anyone not in your household. If you need to use the toilet, only one person can enter at a time, you will need to use paper towels to dry your hands and then wipe down any surfaces you have touched with the disinfectant wipes provided. If you think you will need a drink bring it with you as we will not provide refreshments for the time being.
We would ask that anyone who is displaying any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 to engage with us online, rather than through in-person gatherings.
If you are unwilling to submit to these rules, we respectfully ask that you do not attend in-person gatherings with us as you will increase the risk for others and, in some instances, open the church up to legal action.
